Bill Welsh graduated with his Bachelor's Degree in Psychological and Social Sciences from The Pennsylvania State University in 2009. In 2012, he earned his Master's Degree in Professional Clinical Counseling from LaSalle University. In 2023 Bill completed the Accelerated Certificate program in Applied Behavior Analysis at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and is in the process of obtaining hours to become a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Bill has been working with children for over 15 years and has extensive experience working with children who struggle with behavioral and attention-related problems as well as children on the autism spectrum.
Bill enjoys involving parents in the children's treatment as much as possible, and assists in transferring skills used in sessions to parents to utilize in the home. He has been working as a part-time therapist for CEPD for the last 12 years and takes an eclectic approach in his therapy style by utilizing a combination of behavioral/ cognitive behavioral therapy approach to counseling while also taking advantage of CEPD's unique Biofeedback tools that are available. He is also currently employed full- time at The Center for Autism as the assistant director where he utilizes the Early Start Denver Model to improve social and communication skills with children diagnosed with Autism. In his spare time, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife, and 2 children, watching movies (preferably Star Wars or Marvel movies), playing the latest videogames and tending to his aquarium and Koi Pond.
